Creating Your First Project
This guide walks you through creating your first Mathom project and getting it ready for analysis.
Step 1: Navigate to Projects
From the main dashboard, click on Projects in the sidebar navigation.
Step 2: Create New Project

Click the "New Project" button

Fill in the project details:
- Name: Give your project a descriptive name (e.g., "Acme Corp Acquisition")
- Description: Add context about the deal or analysis scope
- Deal Type: Select the type of transaction (optional)

Click "Create Project"
Step 3: Project Settings
After creation, you can configure:
- Team Access: Invite team members and set permissions
- Review Areas: Customize which aspects to analyze
- Analysis Prompts: Configure AI analysis parameters
- Notifications: Set up alerts for analysis completion
Step 4: Upload Documents
- Navigate to the Documents tab
- Drag and drop files or click "Upload Documents"
- Wait for processing to complete
- Documents will show "Ready" status when processed
Step 5: Run Analysis
- Click "Run Analysis" button
- Review analysis configuration
- Confirm to start
- Monitor progress in the Analysis tab
